International Observe the Moon Night | Learn about the Moon and see it LIVE through our telescopes!
Support the stream: https://www.paypal.com/donate?hosted_... For the last 12 years in October, NASA & Kopernik have celebrated the first quarter Moon’s beautiful features! Join us October 15th at 8pm to celebrate this year's International Observe the Moon Night! At 8pm Tish Bresee, NASA & JPL Solar System Ambassador, will share with you the ARTEMIS Mission to return humans to the Moon and show you the latest images from visiting spacecraft. If clear, our livestream astronomer will head out to the domes and stream a LIVE view of the moon through our telescopes. If you are able to join us in person at Kopernik, we'll start with a lunar-themed family program at 7pm, where parents and their kids can make moon craters and explore other exciting activities. If you can’t come to Kopernik for the International Observe the Moon Night, you are encouraged to observe the Moon from home with your binoculars and your eyes and a telescope, if you have one. Try the family activities and then print out a NASA Certificate to reward yourselves for learning something wonderful about Space!
