Let’s simplify strength training by trimester 🙌🏽 1ST TRIMESTER - You can maintain your regular routine. 2ND TRIMESTER - With more energy, this is your time to go for it with training with the considerations and adjustments you need to make with your growing belly. Don’t be afraid to lift heavier working up to what feels like 85% of intensity for you. Listen to your body for any adjustments for resistance training to match energy needs. 3RD Trimester - You can lift at moderate levels at this point. No need to go ham, but you want to train to meet the demands of what labor may bring! At the end of the day, always listen to your body! It’s intuitively growing a baby, so it’ll definitely know when it’s time to rest! If need guidance be sure to work with a prenatal coach to feel great about your movement!
