Extra time however proved to be an exciting encounter as a goal from each team ended the game 1-1 before Chicago Fire won on penalties with Accam scoring the winning penalty. Black Stars of Ghana captain, Asamoah Gyan has threatened to take legal action against Accra based Montie FM’s Mugabe for tarnishing is reputation. Egyptian Football Association have won their appeal after lodging a formal complaint to FIFA after the special June ranking for the African Qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
