I do think engineers transform lives. For me transport is quite a key one. I live in a rural area in Northern Ireland and it means I can get my education, have a social life, and experience lots of things. In less developed countries the main thing I think of with engineering is water, ensuring there is a clean supply of water and helping with shelter.
