I recently heard a statistic that one third of 7-12 year olds will go into a job that hasn't yet been created. When you start thinking about that you start thinking about how the jobs are changing. I think that a civil engineering is going through big changes at the moment and you may not think you want to work in civil engineering. But those skillsets and technology, computing and IT are going to be integrated more and more into the civil engineering industry.
