Facebook post leads to living kidney donor match | NHS Organ Donation

Kay became a living kidney donor for Lou, after reading that she needed a transplant in a Facebook post. Even though she didn’t know Lou at the time, Kay felt compelled to help and after several tests, she was found to be a match. The kidney transplant went well, and Lou’s health has improved immensely.
