"All Who Are Thirsty" cover song sung by the Lighthouse Village Church of God's worship band

3/23/2025 morning worship service Pastor Anthony Fields " "LIFE - Transfigured ~Disfigured" Luke 6:28-43 Transfigure: "transform into something more beautiful or elevated. Disfigure: "to spoil the appearance of something or someone, especially their face, completely: deform distort maim mangle mar mutilate scar, deface defile hurt injure" "Life Is So Beautiful. life is so hard." It's a reality we've all experienced. ● Life Is So Beautiful. Peter, John, and James are experiencing the beauty of life. It's a mountaintop experience. ● Life Is So Hard. The next day Peter, John, James, and Jesus came down from the mountain and great crowd met Jesus. "A man from the crowd shouted, 'Teacher, I beg you to look at my son; he is my only child. Suddenly a spirit seizes him, and all at once shrieks. It convulses him until he foams at the mouth; it mauls him and will scarcely leave him.''" ● Holding The Tension '....in a straight betwixt/ between. Philippians 1:21-25 You might be siting here today in deep gratitude and someone two pews away is drowning in tears." ____________________ " "Think on This: In Christ, you are a new creation." ▪︎ New Creation: The Bible describes those who believe in Christ as "new creations" (2 Corinthians 5:17), signifying a spiritual rebirth and a departure from the old self. ▪︎ Children of God: Through faith in Christ, believers are adopted into God's family (Ephesians 1:5) and are regarded as heirs in Christ (Romans 8:17). ▪︎ Forgiveness and Grace: You are forgiven of your sins and lavished with God's grace (Ephesians 1:7-8). ▪︎ Spiritual Blessings: You are blessed with every spiritual blessing (Ephesians 1:3) ▪︎. Sealed with the Holy Spirit: You are sealed with the Holy Spirit, a sign of God's ownership and a promise of your inheritance (Ephesians 1:13) ▪︎ Purpose and Meaning: Your new identity in Christ is a life of love, meaning, and purpose, with Christ living in and through you (Romans 5:1-2) ▪︎. Inheritance: You have a forthcoming inheritance (Ephesians 1:11). You are blessed with spiritual gifts, and called to live a life of love, purpose, and meaning. Your priorities change in accordance with Love for God, others and self." _____________________ " "Why it matters that you know who you are" 2 Corinthians 5:17, Isaiah 61:3. Caterpillar to butterfly. Ashes to beauty. Death to life. As we follow Jesus, we become more like Him, and that's a beautiful thing. When you look in the miror, do you see ashes, mourning, and despair, or do you see beauty, gladness, and praise? Is there an idea, attitude, or action in your life that needs to be more like Christ? Take minute to thank God for being a perfect Father, and ask Him to transform your life more into His image."
