If you want to find our church in Hwasun, please go to our Facebook page here:   / gwangjusuwonjigulighthouse.org   At Jn 13:1 we find that it is the Passover, Jn 13:1 Now before the festival of the Passover, and in Exodus chapter 12 verse 14, the Passover, Exod 12:14 This day shall be a day of remembrance for you. You shall celebrate it as a festival to the Lord; throughout your generations you shall observe it as a perpetual ordinance. So Jesus and the Apostles are celebrating the Passover as they’re commanded in Exod 12:14. But the purpose of the Passover, Passover ends the life of a slave. And Passover begins life as a free person. Passover is to remember coming out of Egypt. Passover is remembering coming from a life as a slave to a life as free men. Passover is this holiday we remember I was a slave, but the Lord made me free. In, Exod 6:6…. “I am the Lord, and I will free you from the burdens of the Egyptians and deliver you from slavery to them. And Jesus as well could say, Jn 8:34 Jesus answered them, ‘Very truly, I tell you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. 35 The slave does not have a permanent place in the household; the son has a place there forever. 36 So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.
