UK Brexit Secretary Barclay leaves EU Commission

(20 Sep 2019) British and European Union negotiators were meeting on Friday in search of an elusive Brexit deal. Britain's Brexit Secretary, Stephen Barclay, was holding talks in Brussels with EU chief negotiator Michel Barnier. He was seen leaving the EU Commission building around midday. The talks come as the U.K. and the EU explore whether they can strike a last-minute deal before Britain's scheduled departure date of 31 October.
