Legendary director and occasional actor Werner Herzog talks with IndieWire's Anne Thompson about his role as "The Client" in Jon Favreau's new Disney+ Star Wars series "The Mandalorian." When they were shooting, Werner Herzog didn't even know the title of the show was The Mandalorian. He discusses that, unlike other big budget science fiction films that use green screens and a motion controlled, robotic camera, The Madalorian used a more innovative approach to creating visual effects environments.
