'Jewish' soccer star Mario Balotelli charged for 'anti-Semitic' post

Liverpool Italian striker Mario Balotelli was charged Friday December 5, 2014 by the English Football Association for posting an image to Instagram that many have deemed racist and anti-Semitic. The football star issued an apology, saying he did not mean to offend anyone and calling the incident his "unlucky moment." He has until December 15 to respond to the charge which carries a minimum ban of five matches. (Times of Israel staff)
