John-117 returns to the Truth and Reconciliation looking for Captain Jacob Keyes. The Master Chief navigates and fights his way through the bloody engagement between the Flood and surviving Covenant forces. Doing so, Master Chief discovers a horrifying truth: Captain Keyes has been completely taken over by the Flood and desperately fighting the indoctrination from within. With no other choice, the Chief physically removes the Captain's implants which contain the access codes to the UNSC Pillar of Autumn. He then hijacks a Banshee and escapes leaving the covenant all about the Truth and Reconciliation to their fate. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is a first-person shooter video game set in the Halo universe and is a direct Remake to Halo: Combat Evolved and marks the 10th Anniversary of the game. The original creators known as Bungie developed Halo: CE but later it was re-released as part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection by 343 Industries. Master Chief, a "Spartan" supersoldier and earths last hope, fights the alien Covenant and a deep evil on the mysterious ancient ringworld Halo.
