Do These Fender Whammy Bar Springs Work?

Conclusion: Yes, they work. I had been annoyed with the slack in my whammy bar and could not come up with a good method to stop it. When I saw how heavy duty the Fender springs were, I knew that was probably the trick for them to work. They are stiff springs but still compress some when you screw the whammy bar in.
