4 former St. Elizabeth workers charged in abuse of patient plead not guilty

KENTON COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) - Four former workers at St. Elizabeth Healthcare charged in the abuse of a patient pleaded not guilty. The suspects Ashley Flower, Ellyssa Klein, Sandra Nobbe and Gary Ray appeared in court for the first time Monday. They're all charged with one count of abusing or neglecting an adult. Investigators say the suspects put a therapy bag on top of a patient so the person couldn't move. The incident happened three years ago at a facility on the Edgewood campus.
