
Pear Frangipane Tart
On the first day of December, we are swapping the partridge in a pear tree for our sweet and buttery Pear Frangipane Tart!šš„§ Dough Ingredients: 1 cup sugar 1 cup butter 2 tablespoons vanilla extract 2 cups all-purpose flour Frangipane filling: 2/3 cup butter 2/3 cup sugar 1 egg 2/3 cup almond flour 1 tablespoon almond extract Toppings: Juicy Pear ReĆ l Pear slices Instructions: First, combine the cream, butter and sugar together. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing well. Stir in the dry ingredients until a dough forms. Wrap the dough in plastic and chill for 30 minutes. Next, make the frangipane. Beat together the butter and sugar until smooth, then add the egg, almond extract, and almond flour, mixing until a paste forms. Chill for another 30 minutes. Roll out the dough in your preferred pie dish, then spread the frangipane on top. Slice the pears and arrange them over the frangipane. Drizzle with Juicy Pear ReĆ l for extra sweetness!
