Daily Gospel and Reading: 1 Timothy 6:13-16 and Luke 8:4-15

Good morning everyone, it's time for your daily Gospel and reading. In today's Gospel, Jesus brings up a parable about a sower. The seeds that grew on different surfaces reflects how we carry the word of God. Do we understand to interpret its message correctly and spread its message to others, only keep the message for ourselves, or do we spend only a little time reflecting on the word to only revert to our old, sinful ways? These teachings cannot just be taught; they need to be applied to our daily lives, as God wants us to live. Put more faith in him. Talk to him more. Study his word. Spend a few moments in silence with God. He loves you as he loves all of his children, and he's calling each and every one of us to live a holy life, so we may spend eternity with him when we come home to his kingdom in the afterlife.
