Afternoon Postpartum Boost | Postnatal Yoga guided by Elise Bowerman
This practice may be beneficial within the first six-weeks postpartum. Lift your spirits and energy up as this postnatal yoga flow starts with Breath of Joy. Move from standing postures then down to the floor for core connection and stability, followed by a pretty passive inversion for circulation, and final integration of rest (savasana). Postpartum is forever. It is never too late to begin or return to a practice like this. ✔ Helpful props Whatever you may like for integration. 🌟 Yoga teacher tip 🌟 Take your time instructing a breathing exercise like, Breath of Joy. Let your students digest verbal cues and give them a visualization of what it may look like in your body. Give time to return back to natural breathing after exercise. Consider repeating Breath of Joy if you have a longer class time.
