GOSPEL And he ordered them not to tell who he was, so that what had been said might be fulfilled. A Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew 12:14-21 At that time, 14 the Pharisees went out and made a plan to kill Jesus. 15 When Jesus heard this, he withdrew from there. Large crowds followed him, and he healed them all. 16 And he commanded them not to tell who he was, 17 that what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled: 18 "Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom I have set my affection; I will put my Spirit upon him, and he will declare justice to the nations. 19 He will not quarrel or cry out, nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets. 20 A bruised reed he will not break, nor a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, until he has brought justice to victory. 21 In his name the nations will put their hope." Word of Salvation.
