I start by becoming a fan of the film, then research franchise news, fan theories and updates about the dream film. Then find new clips of the actors and any elements that makes the the franchise known for. We make it clear at the beginning of each trailers that its ‘fan made' to avoid confusion. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Editing Journey: I made this Smallville Season 11 what if trailer as a passion project, driven by my love for both Superman and the Smallville series. While I believe the show ended perfectly with Season 10 and didn’t need a continuation, I couldn’t help but imagine a "what if" scenario—a bonus season that brings back our beloved characters for one last adventure. Crafting this trailer was an exciting challenge, made possible by the fresh Superman action scenes from Superman & Lois and new footage from Tom Welling’s recent films, which helped make his return feel natural. Alongside Clark Kent, I brought back Lois Lane, Oliver Queen, Lana Lang, Lex Luthor, and Jimmy Olsen, carefully selecting moments that would honor their journeys while exploring new possibilities. The trailer begins by revisiting the last time we saw Clark, when he chose to give up his powers to live a normal life with his family. But what if destiny had other plans? As the story unfolds, the stakes rise, calling Clark back into action as Superman. To truly bring this vision to life, I worked with talented VFX artists to create realistic scenes, including Lex Luthor’s return and Tom Welling donning the Superman suit. Every edit, transition, and visual cue was carefully crafted to capture the spirit of Smallville, blending nostalgia with a fresh cinematic feel. This project was a labor of love, and I hope it gives fans a glimpse into what a Season 11 could have been.
