In Macam Studios they are created to inspire film-makers, actors and fans to dreaming without limits, through ‘what if’ trailers. ►How are ‘what if’ trailers made? I start by becoming a fan of the film, then research franchise news, fan theories and updates about the dream film. Then find new clips of the actors and any elements that makes the the franchise known for. Ultimately to create a ‘what if’ trailer using effects, music, AI, and editing software like Wondershare Filmora, Photopea, and more. ►What makes Macam Studios unique from other Fan Trailer channels? Unlike other channels, Macam Studios state at the beginning of each trailers that its 'fan made'. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Editing Journey: I created this Smallville Season 11 Fan Trailer trailer as a tribute to the show and my love for the Superman franchise. While I believe Smallville ended perfectly in Season 10 and didn’t need a continuation, I couldn't help but imagine a "what if" scenario—an extra season or a bonus story that brings back our favorite characters. The editing process was a thrilling journey, made even more exciting by the abundance of fresh Superman action scenes from Superman & Lois. Additionally, Tom Welling’s recent films provided new material to make his scenes feel fresh and updated, along with the rest of the returning cast. In my version of Season 11, I brought back iconic characters such as Lois Lane, Oliver Queen, Lana Lang, Lex Luthor, and Jimmy Olsen, weaving a narrative that respects the show's past while exploring new possibilities. The trailer starts by revisiting Clark Kent’s final moment in Smallville, where he gave up his powers to live a normal life with his family. From there, the story unfolds, questioning what would happen if he had to return as Superman one last time. To enhance the authenticity of the visuals, I collaborated with talented VFX artists who helped bring Lex Luthor and Tom Welling in the Superman suit to life. Every clip, transition, and sound effect was carefully chosen to capture the essence of Smallville, blending nostalgia with fresh cinematic elements. This project was truly a labor of love, and I hope it resonates with fellow fans who have always wondered what a Season 11 could have looked like.
