Pinterest:   / secretsintheove   Ingredients for 4 buns: • 1 tbsp Active Dry Yeast • ½ cup plus 1 tablespoon Warm Water/145 ml • 2 tbsp Granulated Sugar • 3 tbsp Vegetable Oil • 1 Egg • 1 tsp Salt • 2 to 2-1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour/280g to 350g • 1 Egg Yolk • 1 tsp Milk • Black and White Sesame Seeds Step 1 In a bowl add the warm water, 1 tablespoon active dry yeast and 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar. Stir a little bit and let it rest for 5 minutes. Add the vegetable oil and the egg and stir until the ingredients are well-combined. Gradually incorporate the flour half at a time. Season with salt, add the rest of the flour and using your hands start kneading the dough. Step 2 Transfer the dough on a floured surface and do not let it rise. Cut it into 4 equal pieces and shape them into 4 equal balls. Place them on a greased baking sheet, cover them with a towel and let it rise for 15 minutes. Step 3 Beat the yolk with 1 tbsp of milk and grease the buns on top. Sprinkle some black and white sesame seeds and bake them at 220°C or 425°F for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
