Quick Facts: • Anthology 3 is a compilation album by the Beatles, released in October 1996, 7 months after Anthology 2 was released. • The album includes rarities and alternative tracks from the final 3 years of the band's career, ranging from the initial sessions for The White Album to the last sessions for Let It Be and Abbey Road in 1969 and early 1970. • Was their 3rd double album in a row to reach #1 in US, equaling a record set by Donna Summer in the 1970s. • The Anthology producer and project leader was George Martin. 18. Wrote the song in 1968 following the Beatles' Transcendental Meditation course in India with Maharishi. Lyrics refer to his relationship with Lennon and McCartney in the aftermath to their falling out with the Maharishi and as the Beatles launched their multimedia company Apple Corps.
