First Reading: Isaiah 50: 4-9a Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 69: 8-10, 21-22, 31 and 33-34 Gospel: Matthew 26: 14-25 In today’s Gospel reading, Judas makes clear his motives in betraying Jesus when he asks the chief priests:  “What are you willing to give me if I hand Him over to you?” All of us have experienced betrayal at various times in our lives and in differing degrees. Whether big or small, a betrayal experience may make it very difficult for us to trust any other person with our personal lives. Jesus understands betrayal. However, let us ask ourselves: have there been times when we also betrayed Jesus? But Jesus readily forgives us every time we do! Jesus never stops loving us, no matter how many times we betray Him! Perhaps the more important question is: have we forgiven ourselves? Jesus continues to invite us to come to him! Today let us accept His invitation. This is the 1088th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings. [NOTE: As we continue to pray for Bro Bong Arjonillo’s healing and recovery, let us listen to our brother Raymond Bucu, Head of the CFC Gateway Evangelization Programs, as he brings us today's reflection. All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
