Lesson 3: For July 19, 2025 A DIFFICULT BEGINNING Saturday, July 12 READ FOR THIS WEEK'S STUDY: Exodus 5:1-23; Revelation 11:8; Exodus 6:1-13; Psalm 73:23-26; 2 Corinthians 6:16; Exodus 6:28-7:7 MEMORY TEXT: “Then Moses and Aaron stood before Pharaoh and said to him, ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, ‘Let My people go, that they may hold a feast to Me in the wilderness.’ ” Pharaoh said, “Who is the Lord, that I should obey His voice and let Israel go? I do not know the Lord, nor will I let Israel go’” (Exodus 5:1, 2). Many believers think that following Jesus brings only happiness, prosperity, and success. However, when we persevere, God provides solutions at the right time and on His terms. His ways may conflict with our expectations of quick or instant solutions, but we must learn to trust in Him regardless.
