14 DEC 2021 - ONLY BY GRACE REFLECTIONS

#TheParableOfTheTwoSons #Repentance TOPIC: IS YOUR FAITH EASIER SAID THAN DONE? First Reading: Zephaniah 3:1-2, 9-13 Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 34:2-3, 6-7, 17-18, 19, 23 Alleluia: Psalms 85:8 Gospel: Matthew 21:28-32 We are oftentimes guilty of paying lip service to God’s call for holiness. We may be serving God passionately and committedly in our parish and community but our life seems to be going nowhere. Our life is and continues to be hard and problematic. We may be blinded by our own sins which we don’t want to acknowledge. Perhaps, we first need to go through the furnace of purification to align our actions with our words. Repentance is needed for the window of opportunity to open up for us. This is the 616th installment of our CFC quarantine contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings. [NOTE: All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
