#TheProclamationOfJohnTheBaptist #ASongOfJoy #Exhortations #Joy TOPIC: IS JOY POSSIBLE DESPITE YOUR DIFFICULTIES? First Reading: Zephaniah 3:14-18A Responsorial Psalm: Isaiah 12:2-3, 4, 5-6 Second Reading: Philippians 4:4-7 Alleluia: Isaiah 61:1 (Cited In Luke 4:18) Gospel: Luke 3:10-18 Today is Gaudete Sunday. The Entrance Antiphon ushers our Mass with “Rejoice in the Lord always” and the theme is rejoicing in hope. Indeed, we must be joyful not just because we are filled with anticipation for the coming of Jesus our Savior but also because God is already with us. Joy is not the absence of problems, pain and sadness but just that awareness that God keeps us company through all these. This is the 614th installment of our CFC quarantine contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings. [NOTE: All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
