15 MIN Full Body Yoga Flow | Stretch and Strengthen

Please join me for a 15 minute full body yoga flow designed to enhance both strength and flexibility, improve mobility, and promote muscle relaxation. This is a slower moving sequence suitable for all levels with modification, a balanced combination of strong but gentle movements and deep stretches (esp. for the hips). Incorporating habits like this into your daily routine (morning or evening) is great for your overall health and well-being. Just grab a mat and let's begin. Hope you enjoy this practice! #yogastretch #stretchandstrengthen #athomeworkout ✦Format: 40 sec active, 10 sec rest ✦Equipment: yoga block optional, pillow/cushion, mat optional ✦Exercises: Seated rotation, wide legged child's pose, cat cow pose, child's pose w/ leg extension (R-L), walking the dog, Warrior II, extended triangle, half moon pose, side plank (hold optional), wide forward fold w/ twist, deep lunge w/ arm circles, pigeon pose (quad stretch optional), forward fold, bridge pose, knee to chest roll, reclining cobbler's pose, svasana (final relaxation) ◆ Modifications: Use a chair for balance as needed, e.g. half moon pose. Place a pillow under the knee for deep lunges or reclining poses to ameliorate any discomfort. A block can be placed under the hand for triangle pose or for half moon pose for stability. Place a pillow under the knee for forward folds if the hamstrings are tight. Downward dog can be done with hands on a secure chair or against the wall-- just keep lengthening through the tailbone, pressing chest toward thighs. In general, let your breath guide you. The primary goal should be to move in ways that feel good to YOU, not to achieve some “perfect” expression of a pose. Don't be afraid to explore your limits but above all, be kind to yourself and meet your body where it's at today. ♡ Thank you as always for joining me. Sending you all my best wishes for a very happy holiday season, stay well and keep smiling! 🙏 😊 DISCLAIMER: All information provided by this channel is of a general nature and is furnished only for educational/entertainment purposes only.
