#Humility #John032230 #JohntheBaptist #KingCharlemagne TOPIC: ARE YOU A HUMBLE PERSON? In today’s gospel reading (John 3:22-30), John now steps out of the limelight to acknowledge the Messiah. It is a great act of humility as his own disciples will now need to shift their loyalties to Jesus. He knows his place, his role in the greater scheme of things. He says, “No one can receive anything except what is given him from heaven.” The source of all his prophetic discourses, the wisdom where he draws all his brilliance is now in the flesh, in the present. This is the 277th installment of our CFC quarantine contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
