Dear friends, I’d like to share something a little different to my usual offering here. Samhain, meaning ‘summers end’ is a traditional Celtic festival acknowledging the final harvest of the year on The British Isles & Ireland. A fire festival, Samhain is best described as a festival of the ancestors - being an incredibly powerful time of the veil between worlds thinning. As Samhain - usually acknowledged around the beginning of November - draws in, allow the voices of the benevolent spirits and ancestors whisper from beyond the veil. Open to the rhythm of the drum to receive the wisdom from beyond. All is sacred. This drum song was written with the intention of capturing the beauty and shadow of Samhain. Feel yourself held within the rhythm of the drum and the sacred circle as darkness descends and the veil thins.
