We desire to be one with our God and to be holy. But when we are offended, we choose to not forgive and, instead, harbor resentment and vengeance in our heart. We learn today how to forgive and love our enemies, seeking that one thing that will heal us completely and permanently. We leave the revenge and justice to God while we do the right thing He asks — to love and forgive.
