The Price Of Truth | Apostle Grace Lubega Phaneroo Devotional | Lyrical Cover

Apostle Grace Lubega Proverbs 23:23(KJV); Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding. — Truth has a price. When the Bible says ‘buy the truth’, it means that it is not free. However, the price of truth is not monetary. It is not quantifiable in human currencies or the weight of Gold. The price of truth is the spirit of sacrifice. Paul casts light on this in Philippians 3:8 when he says, “Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ…” How much are you willing to give up in order to know God more? Are you ready to leave your comfort zone and go to places the Lord sends you in your quest for truth? Are you willing to serve difficult and complicated people because that is what God instructed you to do for the sake of your growth in the knowledge of Him? Can you lose your social status and close friends because God’s Word makes you cast down all your crowns? Truth will cost you everything. The question you must answer is whether you are ready to bleed and die to yourself on the altars of sacrifice. There is nothing I will not do to launch deeper in You. I refuse to hold onto anything that keeps me back from knowing You more. Like Paul, I count all things but dung for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
