TOPIC: ARE WE FOLLOWING THE RIGHT BUT DIFFICULT PATH GOD IS LEADING US TO BRING OTHERS AND OURSELVES TO HEAVEN? First Reading: Genesis 13: 2, 5-18 Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 15: 2-3a, 3bc-4ab, 5 Alleluia: John 8: 12 Gospel: Matthew 7: 6, 12-14 Today’s Gospel is taken from Matthew 7:6, 12-14 and carries a trilogy of St. Matthew’s writings intended to present Jesus as a teacher. The passages present a profound and meaningful way that as Christ’s followers, we are to insulate ourselves from being blemished with sins that can prevent us from entering God’s kingdom. This is the 1171st installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings. [NOTE: As we continue to pray for Bro Bong Arjonillo’s healing and recovery, let us listen to our sister Evelyn Ylagan, CFC HOLD International Coordinator, as she brings us today's reflection. All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
