Thank you. TOPIC: WHAT ARE THE BARRIERS IN MY LIFE THAT SEPARATES ME FROM GOD’S LOVE? First Reading: Second Corinthians 3: 15 – 4: 1, 3-6 Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 85: 9ab and 10, 11-12, 13-14 Alleluia: John 13: 34 Gospel: Matthew 5: 20-26 The key to a life of holiness is to beg for the grace of the Spirit of Jesus to remove the veil of sin constantly, keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus and remaining in the state of grace through the Eucharist and Confession. When Jesus died, the veil of the temple was torn in two (cf. Mt. 27:51). We pray that the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross remove the barriers that separate us from the Father’s love. And may the veils of sin, pride, unbelief and fear be torn down that the Spirit of Jesus may bring us real freedom. Finally, my brothers and sisters, before we approach the Altar of God to offer worship, let us be reconciled with one another in the spirit of true forgiveness. Then and only then, can the Glory of God be truly revealed in our life. This is the 1160th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
