#TheManWithAnUncleanSpirit #Peace #InteriorPeace #SacredSpace #PrayerTime TOPIC: IS THERE PEACE IN YOUR HEART? First Reading: 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6, 9-11 Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 27:1, 4, 13-14 Alleluia: Luke 7:16 Gospel: Luke 4:31-37 In today’s gospel reading, it was the Sabbath and Jesus goes to Capernaum, a town around the area of Galilee, and teaches at the synagogue. A man, possessed by a demon disturbs His discourse, shouts at the top of his voice to mock Him. Jesus tells the demon, “Be Quiet! Come out of him!” And the demon left the man. We reflect today on Jesus’ words, “Be quiet!” What keeps you busy these days? In this pandemic time, have you found yourself having more time to pray, to meditate, to reflect on the word of God? Or are there other things that pre-occupy you? This is the 511th installment of our CFC quarantine contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings. [NOTE: All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
