TOPIC: HAVE YOU EXPERIENCED TRUE HEALING THROUGH FORGIVENESS? First Reading: Isaiah 35: 1-10 Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 85: 9ab and 10, 11-12, 13-14 Gospel: Luke 5: 17-26 Luke 5: 17-26 recounts how Jesus healed a paralyzed man. It is a powerful narrative of Jesus' incredible ability to heal, but more so, it emphasizes on the power of forgiveness, and how it serves as the foundation of healing. Forgiveness restores, not only one's physical well-being, but restores one's relationship with God. But while not all ailments are a result of sin, the link between physical and spiritual well-being is evident in many biblical accounts. This is the 1326th installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
