"But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find Him if you (truly) seek Him with all your heart and soul and life." - Deuteronomy 4:29 Today's devotional reading it's from Joyce Meyers book, "The Power of Being Thankful." As we dig into the Word today we realize that the Lord wants to be found.... by You! I know that sounds crazy that the creator of the universe wants you to seek him out and he wants you to have fellowship with him! (Befriend him, confidenin Him, enjoy His presence)... I know He made the whole world, and we're just one person in it, but we matter to him that much! He wants you to seek Him with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your life.... The apostle Paul said that his determined purpose was to know God and the power that flowed out from his resurrection (phil 3:10) What does that mean exactly to you? How can you seek God today with all of your heart? How can you seek God today with all of your mind? How can you seek God today with all of your soul? How can you seek God today with all of your mind? The word seek is a very strong word, and the original meaning was to crave, to pursue, and to go after with all of your might!!! Is this a challenge? Yes, but we can do it! It just takes time throughout the day to spend time with Him, and to make the time in to remember that He's there and that He does care... At the end of this quick devotional reading we will end in prayer to send us on our way with a thankful heart and a heart to be more like apostle Paul today, Learning, growing, seeking together in this Faith journey that we call life...
