#TheParableOfTheMustardSeed #TheParableOfTheYeast #BringOurChildrenToGod #FaithOfOurChildren #PrayingForOurChildren #ActsOfKindnessAndGoodness TOPIC: DO YOU GET DISCOURAGED IN BRINGING YOUR CHILDREN TO CHRIST? First Reading: Romans 8:18-25 Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 126:1B-2AB, 2CD-3, 4-5, 6 Alleluia: Matthew 11:25 Gospel: Luke 13:18-21 In today’s gospel reading, Jesus gives us two parables that allow us to realize that our actions, no matter how small and, perhaps, insignificant, can produce great results. A tiny mustard seed becomes a huge tree that gives shelter to birds of the air. A small piece of yeast balloons into bread that can feed many people. Both are hidden from view but the impact becomes visible and felt in the end result. We learn from these parables on how to bring our children to God. This is the 567th installment of our CFC quarantine contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings. [NOTE: All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
