First Reading: Daniel 3: 14-20, 91-92, 95 Responsorial Psalm: Daniel 3: 52, 53, 54, 55, 56 Verse Before the Gospel: Luke 8: 15 Gospel: John 8: 31-42 There is a contemporary Christian song that goes, "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom! There is peace! There is love! There is joy!" What this means is, if we want to walk in liberty, we must walk with Christ. The moment we accepted Jesus as Lord and savior, He began to call us His friends, no longer slaves. So, let us not be burdened by unnecessary constraints! Why? Because when we have God, He alone suffices, He alone is enough. This is the 1082nd installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
