First Reading: Romans 11: 29-36 Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 69: 30-31, 33-34, 36 Alleluia: John 8: 31b-32 Gospel: Luke 14: 12-14 In the Concluding Mass of the recent Synod, Pope Francis said that the whole point of the Synod is to strengthen the Church's missionary outreach, with loving God with our whole life, and our neighbors as ourselves as the heart of everything. Following the Holy Father's lead, we are called to imitate Jesus, whose love knows no bounds and not limited for a select few. This is the 1291st installment of our CFC contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings.
