#UnityAndMaturityInTheBodyOfChrist #Patience #Holiness #FruitOfTheSpirit TOPIC: HOW MUCH PATIENCE DO YOU HAVE? First Reading: Ephesians 4:1-7, 11-13 Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 19:2-3, 4-5 Alleluia: Te Deum Gospel: Matthew 9:9-13 In today’s first reading from St. Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians, he exhorts them to unity by displaying several virtues ⏤ patience, being one of them. Unity is not uniformity but harmony ⏤ like an orchestra that has many different parts but produces beautiful music. The Catholic Dictionary defines patience as a form of the moral virtue of fortitude. It enables one to endure present evils without sadness or resentment in conformity with the will of God. This is the 532nd installment of our CFC quarantine contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings. [NOTE: All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
