#TheParableOfTheDishonestManager #LoveForMoney #Happiness #Holiness #HappinessAndHoliness #JoyInAllCircumstances TOPIC: CAN YOU BE HAPPY WITHOUT MONEY? First Reading: Romans 16:3-9, 16, 22-27 Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 145:2-3, 4-5, 10-11 Alleluia: 2 Corinthians 8:9 Gospel: Luke 16:9-15 In today’s gospel reading, Jesus talks about money, not as it is, but in the use of it. He connects money with trust — that is, God has entrusted us with resources, money included, for us to use well. If we are worthy of that trust, time will come when we will be truly rich, not in the wealth of this world but in the riches of eternal life. Notice that when we have money, everyone seems to love us. Things are easy, we are happy, we seem contented. But when times become tough, when money dwindles, it would seem that everything else follows. This is the 578th installment of our CFC quarantine contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings. [NOTE: All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
