#SignsAndPersecutions #SurrenderingToChrist TOPIC: DO YOU SURRENDER YOUR SUFFERINGS TO CHRIST? First Reading: Daniel 5:1-6, 13-14, 16-17, 23-28 Responsorial Psalm: Daniel 3:62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67 Alleluia: Revelation 2:10C Gospel: Luke 21:12-19 In today’s gospel reading, Jesus tells his disciples that they will be persecuted, imprisoned and some may end up dying for their faith. We, all have, or are currently suffering from some form of pain caused by persecution and rejection, sickness or disease, addiction, death of a loved one, loss of livelihood. In suffering, we become insufficient and powerless. We can either surrender our life to God now or continue to wallow constantly in despair and despondency that leads to death. This is the 596th installment of our CFC quarantine contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings. [NOTE: All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
