#TheComingOfTheKingdom #24HoursToLive #PreparingForDeath #MendingRelationships #Love TOPIC: WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU ONLY HAD 24 HOURS TO LIVE? First Reading: Wisdom 7:22B-8:1 Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 119:89, 90, 91, 130, 135, 175 Alleluia: John 15:5 Gospel: Luke 17:20-25 In today’s gospel reading, Jesus is asked by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God will come. Jesus replies: “The Kingdom of God is among you.” We all look for external signs to give us an indication if the world is about to end. We desire to know when our own judgment day will come. Many of us are overcome with fear of death, for it can be as uncertain and as unknown as the final judgment day. So we reflect on this question: Can we cram in the next 24 hours all that we need to do to prepare ourselves to exit this world? This is the 583rd installment of our CFC quarantine contemplation series focusing on the daily liturgical readings. [NOTE: All the regular reflections are between 3-7 minutes long, enough time for us to ponder what God's message is for us individually and to pray that we may live them out in our lives.
